01The Standard

The standard that puts people first.

ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management, applicable to any organisation with people doing work on its behalf.

ISO 45001:2018 sets the requirements for an Occupational Health and Safety Management System. It is built on hazard identification, worker participation, the hierarchy of controls, and demonstrable leadership accountability.

Certification is the independent confirmation that your system meets those requirements. It is not a safety poster. It is evidence that risks are identified, controlled in order of effectiveness, and audited against an international benchmark.

03Why T4C

A certification body that values your time.

Three commitments that shape how we work, every audit, every client, every time.

Independence you can prove

As an accredited certification body, we are bound by impartiality rules. We audit your system, we do not consult on it. That separation is what makes the certificate worth issuing.

Speed without shortcuts

Streamlined onboarding, digital documentation handling, and tight audit planning compress timelines without compromising the depth of assessment. Quotes in 48 hours, audits scheduled to your calendar.

Recognition that travels

Backed by LABOR S.A., a Greek leader in conformity assessment with European Notified Body status (NB 2537). Your certificate carries credibility across EU markets and beyond.

04What You Gain

The business case for ISO 45001.

Certification is not paperwork, and it is not a poster in the break room. Here is what changes inside your organisation, and outside it, once your system is certified.

01

Qualify for contracts that require it

Principal contractors, public bodies and large clients increasingly make a certified health and safety management system a condition of pre-qualification.

02

Reduce incidents and lost time

Systematic hazard identification and the hierarchy of controls cut the events that cost you days, people and productivity.

03

Demonstrate leadership accountability

ISO 45001 places explicit duties on top management. Responsibility stops being something delegated to a safety officer and quietly forgotten.

04

Strengthen your position with insurers

Documented risk control and clean incident data give underwriters something concrete to price against.

05

Involve the people who see the risk

Worker consultation and participation are mandatory requirements, not optional extras. The people doing the work help design the controls.

06

Be ready for the inspection you did not plan

Legal compliance obligations, emergency preparedness and records are maintained continuously rather than assembled the night before.

05Sectors We Certify

Every workplace carries risk to control.

ISO 45001 expects hazards to be controlled in a set order, most effective first. We audit how far up that hierarchy your controls actually sit, across sectors including:

From offer acceptance to certificate issuance, expect 6 to 12 weeks for most small and mid-sized organisations with a health and safety management system already operating. The variables are the number of sites, the risk profile of the work, and how quickly any Stage 1 findings are closed out.

The price depends on the size of your organisation, the number of sites, and the risk profile of the activities in scope. We quote per organisation rather than from a price list, and the offer covers the full three-year cycle including surveillance audits, so there are no surprises later.

No, and that is by design. Accreditation rules and impartiality requirements explicitly prohibit a certification body from consulting on the system it later audits. We assess your system, we do not design it. If you need implementation support, engage an independent consultant. Keeping those roles separate is precisely what makes the certificate worth holding.

ISO 45001 certificates are valid for three years. During that period we conduct annual surveillance audits to confirm the system continues to operate effectively and that your legal compliance obligations remain current. A recertification audit takes place before the three years expire.

Certificates are issued under the accreditation scope of LABOR S.A., the parent organisation behind T4C. LABOR S.A. has operated as a Greek leader in testing, inspection, and certification since 1996 and holds European Notified Body status (NB 2537). T4C is the streamlined, modern face of that established conformity-assessment capability.

Yes. If you hold a valid ISO 45001 certificate from another accredited body, we can transfer it to our scope after a streamlined review of your existing documentation, your most recent audit reports, and any open findings. Your existing certification cycle and surveillance dates are normally preserved.

Audits happen in two stages. Stage 1 is a readiness review, on site or remote, covering your hazard identification and risk assessment methodology, your legal compliance obligations, scope and management structure. Stage 2 is the full assessment: we sample operational controls against the hierarchy of controls, worker consultation arrangements, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, internal audits and management review. We speak to workers, not only to managers. If you already hold ISO 9001 or ISO 14001, they can be assessed in a single combined audit.
